Boys oh Boys!!!

I was grateful that I could do an article for Rainbowkids to encourage more families to adopt boys. There is such a need...so many boys (much more than girls) wait for their forever families for no other reason then their gender. It is so sad to me...I pray that more families would be open to adopting these precious ones! May we all work together to be a voice for them!!

  1. Thanks for this post. I am praying about bringing home a little boy from Sanyu that has sickle cell disease, like our Elyssa. Waiting on the Lord....although I am fairly certain I have already heard His still small voice (He took me to Psalm 102 and spoke in my morning devo. by Oswald Chambers). We currently have a team with us and they leave tonight--then the opportunity will come to speak with my husband! He knows what I am thinking though as I got out the car seat to wash and bought baby boy clothes at the open market yesterday! Pray with me....

  5. Shonni, thank you for writing the article and causing awareness! We brought home our beautiful 2 year old son last March and are waiting to bring home our 13 year old son now. God has truly blessed us, and we are so thankful He opened our hearts to His plans!

  8. Shonni-
I have not read your article yet but plan to go straight over to the site and read it! I so love our 4 birth boys and dreamed we adopted a son but I don't think it will be in our future. The boys steal my heart- they are so precious and so eager to take in all the love!
Blessings to you and your beautiful family!
    Jean
