Linn began Thankful Thursdays some time ago and I am going to start this also, because, well, it is helpful to think about what I am thankful for and to write it down. As Linn said, thankfulness is a conscious decision. And between homeschooling, and the four under four, I am feeling a little "run over" right now.
I am thankful
1. that I "get to" live in beautiful Colorado1!! It's beauty constantly refreshes me...
2. for the Ford Bronco my husband bought for me last year because he knows how I love my Bronco...
3. for the new friends I am meeting while we blog...
4. for naps (honestly...it's the only time I'm not interrupted ever two minutes.)...
5. For the new things I'm learning about my hobby - photography.
If you want to be apart, please let Linn know...she would love to hear from others I'm sure.
Thank you for sharing your thankfulness. You are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine how much you must be missing your son---my day will come too soon.
Have a very blessed day. We are so enjoying some warmer weather here in CO---I bet you are too.
I'm thankful for this blog that reminds us to be thankful!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for good friends, that God gave to me (I feel very special)
I am thankful for Shonni! :c)
I love the picture of your two boys... very sweet... and it is so hard to let go isn't it? Kind of a bittersweet experience. Luckily, God gave him very faithful and loving parents to encourage him AND support him... Lucky you Jace!!
PS: Tell Kalyn that I miss hearing from her!!

Shonni,
ReplyDeleteAfter your sweet comment yesterday, I had to tell you that in the night E & E woke up. I was able to go back to sleep from about 3ish..so I was up praying and I was praying for grace and strength for you. It is the hardest job in the world to be a mama to demanding little ones (we could go for coffee and talk over being moms of many, don't ya' think?)....anyway, add homeschooling to the mix and a boatload of other kids.....yes, you have one very tough job! But I want to thank you on behalf of the orphans of the world for your constant voice and testimony that your family is...that all orphans are worthy of - and that although difficult, there is such joy! I know you know all that, but I just wanted to be your cheerleader today! =)
And I am already working on next weeks post about Thankful Thursday and will be linking your blog to mine...thank you for participating! You rock sister!
You are loved! xo
