Please help

I need your honest opinions! Should I leave Alia's hair un-braided for my nieces wedding on Saturday....or....

should I braid it like Joeliana's?

  1. I vote unbraided! Cute either way but that little fluff in the back it too cute! How are you? I have been meaning to e-mail you!

  2. Oh I know you are sooooo hoping we all go for the unbraided look :)

    Honestly--I LOVE the braids. Oh--and heaps and heaps of beads :)

  3. Since I know it takes you a really long time to do the braids (soooo veryveryvery cute) and you have many other things to do to get ready, I think you really want us to say..no braids. :) AND since Alia looks much like a 'Children's Place' magazine model, I say no braids. Your girls are beautiful.

  4. I like the natural look but those braids are beautiful as well. I am impressed with your skills, I can't do cornrows at all!

  10. Nice braids!! You could get a big ribbon and tie a box to make it a bit fancier for the wedding (with the free hair) :-) I LOVE my daughter's hair free but it gets too tangles at night even with a sleep cap and she hates getting it combed out...

  12. Shonni;

    I like it both ways...favoring natural though. Can you fly to CT and teach me to braid? I don't even know how to part. How did you learn? Is there hope for me?

  13. Your daughters are both so beautiful! I always love it when my wife does loose braids on my daughter, but out looks pretty darn cute too! We have only done the cornrows once, it was cute too! I think she'll be beautiful whatever you decide. Miss you and Kaylin! Your little brother, James

  14. Gotta tell you ... you do a GREAT job on the cornrows. Wow!

    Have you tried yarn braids? I just re-did Rachel's this week, and the last set lasted almost 6 months. Seriously ... they still looked good, too.

    My girls LOVE their yarn braids. It usually takes me 8-10 hours per girl (with beading help from my 12 year old daughter), but then it lasts usually 3-4 months (or 6 months if you get really lucky).

    I, too, love the bonding time during our Hair Days.
